I had delicious food for breakfast except for the coffee which was tasteless. Barts was centrally located very close to the hotel.

My stay was excellent on a four day visit. The selection of outstanding cakes, cheese, and meats was a bonus. Sala Apolo was centrally located minutes from the hotel. And it was also close enough to metro station and essential buses as well as La Rambla and local restaurants, shops and main streets that lead straight to further tourist destinations.

Spotless and cheap rooms come with A/C, a nice bathroom, as example. The hotel is centrally located and right by the metro station and the sea, the public transport and all the center of shopping. 300 metres are distance to a restaurant.

I really enjoyed the room, it was spotless and with TV and a nice bathroom plus A/C.

The deluxe queen room was perfect, it had a safe, central heating and an electronic key card. The breakfast had outstanding choices, including cakes, cheese and meats, sadly we were in a hurry and didn't try all of it. The location was good for Barcelona, adjacent to the attractions, the metro station and the sea and Gothic Quarter.

It was centrally located just next door to a night club...

everything was very good, including exceptional stuff and excellant location in the restaurant next door-excellant choice of beers with very good food. i had cheap and big room here with great daily housekeeping and a/c. i appreciated having cakes, cheese and meats in the morning.

The breakfast buffet was substantial and filling, offering great value for the price. The location of the hotel was very convenient, with two metro lines nearby and just a short walk to popular attractions. Another advantage was the helpful and friendly staff, who went out of their way to assist guests and spoke good English.

The rooms were starting to show signs of wear and tear, with some areas in need of a fresh coat of paint. the shower had temperature fluctuations, going from hot to cold multiple times throughout its use.

Very conveniently located. Courteous staff. Very clean rooms including clean, well maintained bathrooms. Great choice at these prices. The front of the Hostal and the reception areas are quiet, clean, peaceful and give a serene look. No excessive noise, no interruptions. Easy to avail fast Internet services. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for people on a budget.

The expanded part of the Hostal is accessed through a door which can only be opened by Reception staff. This meant that every time a guest returns and collects the room key, the reception staff have to come out and open that access door first.

Great budget hotel with excellent staff and good value for money. The location is convenient, with easy access to metro lines and attractions like the Ramblas. The buffet-style breakfast had plenty of options, and there was even a craft beer restaurant next door. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had extra security with keycard entrance. The staff was friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to assist with printing vouchers and ensuring a pleasant stay. The wifi signal was also excellent.

While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they could use some updating as they were a bit tired. There were some small details that needed attention, such as the lack of a towel hanger and the condition of the shower curtain.

After reading the reviews I was a little bit scared about what i'm going to get but when we arrived I was happy to find out that the people are super nice and that the room is clean and smell nice and was cleaned very day with new towels. We are a couple but we got a 4 people room on the newer building of the hostel. The location was fantastic!! 5 min walk from the rambla and the port. Close to the hostal there are few very cool places to sit for a nice cool beer and light meal. Also, lonley planet best paella restaurant is 1 min from the hotel. The hostel in in a street that has minimal car going tru so that is good. The noise from the street was from people the hangs out in the street and was kind of loud but we were so tired after long days of travel in the city that it wasn't bother us.h
